Dot Zero is the foundation of the surveyor – it is the point to measure all other points from.
The "site", in its elemental, ontological definition a point without a mass, infinitely small but infinitely precise, became the conceptual impulse for the following exercise and score.

1.) Fill the origin of a corner (Dot Zero) with clay
2.) Retrieve the clay corner from Dot Zero
3.) Position the clay corner one inch away from each wall of Dot Zero
4.) Try to get a glance at Dot Zero from the right
5.) Try to get a glance at Dot Zero from the left
6.) Repeat the exercise, increasing the corner's distance by one inch each time, until Dot Zero is fully revealed.
